Excursion trip: A Styrian Roas in Ligist

On 12 October 2025, the market town of Ligist in Styria invites you to ‘A Stürmische Roas’ - a festival for all the senses. This event is part of the popular ‘Styrian Roas’ and combines tradition, music, crafts and culinary delights amidst the picturesque landscape of the Graz Region.

The day begins at 11 a.m. with the departure from Lendkai 11 in Graz. Once you arrive in Ligist, a varied programme awaits you:

• Imkerei Rosenzopf: learn all about the fascinating world of bees and honey production.
• Dokter: Enjoy regional specialities and homemade Buchteln in a cosy atmosphere.
• Stormy hike: Hiking enthusiasts have the opportunity to hike from Buschenschank Dokter to the ‘Steirische Roas’ and enjoy the autumnal landscape.

To round off the day, visit the Wörgötter restaurant, which has been awarded 2 toques and 1 Michelin star, where you can reflect on the day over a glass of wine.
