On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 8:00 PM, the Oberzeiring Theater (THEO) presents the tragicomedy "Arthur & Claire" by Stefan Vögel.
The piece tells the story of two suicide candidates who meet by chance. Arthur, a sport teacher who is terminally ill with lung cancer, and Claire, a young woman with suicidal intentions, encounter each other in neighboring hotel rooms in Amsterdam. Their meeting leads to an unexpected turn in both of their lives as they engage in witty and profound dialogues about the fundamental questions of existence.
In the production by Peter Faßhuber, Julia Faßhuber and Werner Halbedl play the lead roles. The performance rights are held by the Thomas Sessler Verlag in Vienna. "Arthur & Claire" promises a blend of absurd comedy and touching tragedy that makes the audience laugh while also provoking thoughts about the painful aspects of life.
