But what is A.I. anyway? How does A.I. work? What can A.I. do, what can't A.I.
Throughout human history, there have been technological leaps that dramatically changed life on Earth. Fire, the wheel, the railway, and the internet. And now, artificial intelligence – or A.I. – has joined the ranks. As with all technological revolutions, A.I. offers both opportunities and dangers. But the choice is not for technology itself to make. It is our choice how we handle it.
A.I. has already been integrated into everyday life in economy and culture. The transformation of production and the world of work has changed rapidly in a short time. The use of A.I. in industry, composition, agriculture, sound design, robotics, the financial market, medicine, and much more is leading to the emergence of new job categories, while old ones disappear.
But what exactly is A.I.? How does A.I. work? What can A.I. do, and what can A.I. (still) not do?
This is what the evening at Zetzbochstüberl Anger is about. And no one can explain it better than Sophie Steger and Johann Steinecker. Their combined fields of research provide an easy yet complex, scientifically grounded, and entertaining access to the topic of A.I. Because this topic affects all of us. It's time for us to get a bit familiar with it.
On May 16th at Zetzboch Stüberl, Weizer Str. 2, 8184 Anger at 8 PM!
