Anniversary: 100 years of Sattelhaus

On Saturday, 13 September 2025, the Oskar Schauer Sattelhaus on the Terenbachalm in Styria is celebrating a very special anniversary: 100 years of Alpine hospitality, closeness to nature and living tradition.

The celebrations begin at 10:00 a.m. with a festive church service, celebrated by Pastor Siegmund Schmolli and accompanied by the Graden Music Society. This solemn opening in the midst of the impressive mountain scenery of the Graz Region creates the perfect setting for an unforgettable day.

This is followed by the official ceremony, hosted by ORF presenter Erich Fuchs, who leads through the programme with charm and expertise. Musical highlights are provided by the Graden Music Society and the Stubalm Duo, whose performances create a festive and cheerful atmosphere.

Of course, the culinary delights are not to be missed: Look forward to regional specialities, homemade pastries and refreshing drinks, served in the cosy atmosphere of the Sattelhaus.

The Oskar Schauer Sattelhaus, also known as the Sattelhaus, was built in 1925 by nature lovers and has been a popular meeting place for hikers and nature lovers ever since.
