Once a gravel pit, today this up-to-date recreation centre has opportunities for sport, a camp site with fixed pitches, catering and a lakeside pavilion.

The water depth of 3-10 metres is a guarantee for the constant drinking water quality of the pond, which is, however, also regularly checked by the Hygiene Institute Graz. The Tieber leisure centre is located near Frohnleiten, only 25 kilometres north of Graz.
