From the carpark "Schönwetterhütte". Walking on the geological trail is approximately 2.5 hours.

This 24-station trail around the Gumpenkar gives an insight into 500 million years of earth history. The Kar under the Gumpeneck in Großsölktal distinguished by its classical forms and a variety of "geological treasures".

Through great panorama locations you can see from this theme several geological large units of the Austrian Alps. A well laid out Folder makes the Geology for everyone "understandable" and exciting.
