schillern: Queer gardening

Media artist and filmmaker Ella von der Haide is visiting Trahütten and showing her documentary “Queer Gardening”. It is the first documentary film about queer gardening and queer-feminist ecologies worldwide.

In the 80-minute film, 24 LGBTQIA* gardeners guide viewers through their gardens and explain where their garden design is queer. They also talk about how they queer and reinterpret heteronormative ecology and nature-culture relationships.

After the screening, visitors are invited to talk to the artist.
