This pram-friendly hike leads along paved paths through the idyllic Laasen nature reserve in Bad Mitterndorf. The circular route is flat and ideal for relaxed family outings in Styria, whether with a baby carriage or as a leisurely stroll.
The starting point is the parking lot between Steirerhütte and Eselalm, near the riding school. From here, the route follows the “Obersdorfer Rundweg” signs and leads along a paved path directly through the protected Laasen nature reserve.
There is a small pond at the edge of the path - a nice place for a short break and a great nature highlight for children. The trail then continues towards the Salzkammergut main road B145. This is crossed at the former “Gasthaus zur Einkehr” inn.
The accompanying path then leads along the B145 back to the riding school. After crossing the road one last time, you return to the starting point.
This easy family hike impresses with its varied nature and pram-friendly paths throughout - perfect for little explorers.
