Seven days, six huts, endless expanses: The Gesäuse Hut Round impresses with variety and spectacular heights
Hiking from one hut to the next, up and down, through almost untouched nature: On the Gesäuse Hut Round, you will get to know the Ennstal Alps from truly all sides. During the multi-day hut hike through imposing landscapes, you are completely flexible - there are numerous variants and no fixed overnight places.
You can start from Admont, Johnsbach, or Gstatterboden - depending on your mood, the Gesäuse Hut Round is accessible in various ways. If you want to skip a stage, you can easily take a bus or taxi to the next stage. In total, there are about 6,000 meters of elevation gain and loss to conquer.
The six Gesäuse huts each offer regional delicacies and phenomenal views. And by the way: The hut round is for everyone! That’s why our hut hosts now also have at least one delicious vegan dish in their repertoire. Thus, the Gesäuse Hut Round *vegan edition is the first round in the Alpine region where you can indulge entirely vegan if you wish.

Liezen is the centre of the Enns Valley - modern, dynamic and known as a shopping town. A lively cultural scene and diverse sports facilities make the town particularly liveable.

For the first time, the new hiking guide offers 13 tours in all six Austrian national parks, which can be reached easily and conveniently by public transport. (Language: german)
