The large bathing pond, the scenic Salza river, the idyllic Enns cycle path and the many charming hilltops provide the setting for the nature park community. The Silvanum Forestry Museum is located in Großreifling, where you can gain a completely new insight into working with wood over the centuries. The charcoal burner centre in Hieflau and the geovillage of Gams are by no means dusty. Geology is the order of the day here. Virtually every attraction has the first name ‘Geo’. The programme includes the GeoZentrum, GeoPfad, GeoWerkstatt GeoRad and GeoRafting.
Be a speleologist for a day. This is possible in the unique Kraus Cave, the access to which is in the Nothklamm gorge, a 700 metre-long climbing facility on which you almost float over the gorge of the Gamsbach stream. Not forgetting the Palfau district with its impressive Wasserlochklamm gorge along 5 sparkling waterfalls. You have to hand it to the tranquil municipality of Landl - it is in an excellent strategic location. If you choose your starting point here, you can hop into the Salza armed with a paddle or hike up one of the three massive mountain ranges with hiking poles or snowshoes in winter.
